The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is part of the Department of Educational Sciences at Necatibey Faculty of Education. It is responsible for planning and delivering professional knowledge and educational sciences courses within teacher education programs. The department also offers master's and doctoral programs to train experts in the field. Graduate programs in the department focus on curriculum theory, curriculum design, curriculum development, program evaluation, learning and development processes, instructional methods, and quantitative and qualitative research in education. These programs lead to master's and doctoral degrees. The department aims to train academic staff to work in the field of curriculum and instruction in faculties of education, as well as education specialists to design and implement in-service training programs in public and private institutions. Currently, the department has 4 professors, 3 associate professors, 2 assistant professor and 1 research assistant. |
